Patlytics positions itself as the AI platform purpose-built for IP work: drafting, infringement detection with claim charts, invalidity and FTO analysis, and office action response in one web platform. Its agent surface, Patlytics Agent, offers a slash-command interface the company says is powered by 150+ skills and grounded in 145M patents and 40M+ case law records. If you are an in-house team or a firm that wants litigation analytics and prosecution in one browser tab, this is the maximalist option.
Solve Intelligence
Solve Intelligence describes its product as AI patent drafting and prosecution software, spanning drafting, office action responses, claim charting, invalidity, infringement, FTO reviews, and portfolio analysis. The company says it serves the world's top law firms and more than 700 in-house teams and firms globally. It is one of the most mature drafting-first platforms in the field.
IPRally
IPRally is the search specialist. Its graph-based search technology understands technical structures and functional relationships, built on a graph neural network trained on examiner citations. Its pricing page lists Individual and Team plans with a 3-day trial and claims coverage of 120M+ patents across 58 jurisdictions. If your job is novelty search and watching, and explainability of why a result matched matters to you, IPRally is the benchmark to beat.
DeepIP
DeepIP meets attorneys where many of them actually work: Microsoft Word. You draft and review inside your familiar Word environment, and drafts adapt to USPTO, EPO, and PCT formats. Around the add-in sits a platform with patentability assessment, semantic search, and office action analysis with case-law citations. If your firm's workflow is Word documents end to end, DeepIP has the lowest switching cost on this list.
Rowan Patents (Clarivate)
Rowan, now part of Clarivate, is a desktop drafting environment: integrated specification, claims, and drawing tools, NLP consistency checking, and GenAI assistants that support both local and cloud language models. It is the structured-drafting choice, notable as the only tool here besides FlowLeap that ships as a desktop app.
FlowLeap
FlowLeap is a different shape of product: not a web form or a Word add-in but an agent workspace. It is a desktop app for macOS and Windows built on a VS Code fork; its agent searches USPTO and EPO patent data plus scientific literature, and every cited document comes from a real search, with conclusions linking back to the passages that support them. Your matters stay as files on your machine, in folders you own.
